Carla & Andrew || Huntsville Wedding Photographer

So, here goes my effort of blogging all the beautiful senior sessions, weddings, and engagement sessions I have been blessed to photograph!

Carla & Andrew got married in the best month*** to get married: December.

*** not biased off of the fact my anniversary is in December, rather based off of the fact that December is a happy month.

Anyways, Carla & Andrew got married at Duckpond Manor in Tennessee! Carla made my job so easy because she was radiant and she and Andrew were just so happy to be getting married.

Her dress was perfect for her: elegant and whimsical.

And look at this ring: HEART EYE HANGOVER.

Andrew and his groomsmen are all Tennessee State Troopers. Which explains the next set of photos!

They all went through training together. Also: I LAID ON MY STOMACH to get this image. #dedicated wedding photographer in the house!

I loved Carla's bouquets. You guys hear me talk about flowers SO often. But, honestly, they are so lovely and really tell so much about the bride. Carla's bouquets were so unique, and the colors (PURPLE) were oh so dreamy.

In my opinion: dresses that are all in the same color family & full length are almost always the way to go! It shows each girl's personalities. All of these girls have been friends for quite some time!!

LOOK AT CARLA'S CAPELET. I loved the classy feel of her capelet. It had such a roaring 20s feel to it, and was such a fun element!

Okay. So all my brides know I suggest doing a first look. Why? 1. It gives you more time for portraits overall. 2. YOU GET TO TRULY CAPTURE HIS REACTION. It is also often the only time you two have to yourselves on your wedding day! I know that sounds crazy, but seriously. Wedding days are. so. busy. This is built in breathing time.

When I invade your space a bit, the next (biggest) photo shows you why: its to capture those intimate, candid moments.

As a wedding photographer, you would think I could just--ya know--reign in my emotions. But at every single wedding I have attended and photographed I have shed tears behind my camera. Carla & Andrew's vows were absolutely no exception. They both wrote heartfelt and personal vows. I felt so blessed in the moment to be able to take part in their wedding day, creating their visual story book for their whole life!

Carla & Andrew are AMAZING dancers. They have the salsa down to a T. I have never been more mesmerized by a first dance!!

Carla's dance with her dad also made me shed some tears!! And her dance with her siblings. (ALSO, do you like my photograph of the couple in a christmas tree decoration??
