Blush & Burgundy Styled Shoot || Huntsville Wedding Photographer
A few months ago, I had an itch to do something that pushed me. I found this in planning a styled shoot. A styled shoot is basically where a bunch of vendors (in my case, wedding vendors) come together and plan a shoot. It opens up possibilities to maybe shoot somewhere youve wanted, or with a dress style you wanted, or simply to network and get creative! I planned for MONTHS, and I allowed 20 photographers to attend and photograph what I had put my heart into! I was so happy with the results and the new friends I made! Some of the photographers were able to get their work from this shoot published. I was a little too slow at editing my photos, and was seriously SO EXHAUSTED from planning this (BRIDES I TOTALLY FEEL YOU) that I haven't even yet shared it!
But it feels like I should share all of my hard work!! I wasn't able to shoot everything (we had 5 stations) because I was trying to ensure everything was running smoothly, but here are some of my images I was able to get!!
This was held at Iriswoods in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee!
Florals were done by wildflowersllc.com (the sweetest duo who will execute your floral dreams!)
Christina is a gorgeous model and her boyfriend, Chas, was so fun to work with as well! The dress was provided by The White Room based in Lebanon, TN.
I was able to find Chas' jacket on SUPER SALE at Macy's. I was SO happy because it fit my vision perfectly!!
Look at the cute boutonnière!! I seriously couldn't have been happier with the flowers provided by Alessio & Jessie!
The stationery & calligraphy throughout was provided by Brooklyn from The Artisan Abode! She is SO talented, and was so fun to work with!! I seriously just loved meeting everyone!
While Christina is a model, the love that Chas & she share is real, and it was so fun to capture a real couple outside of a wedding day!
THIS CAKE IS GOING TO BLOW YOUR MIND>>> Kitty with Oh Crumbs Bakery in Lebanon TN is SO talented. That wood layer is NOT wood.... I'm dead serious.
One of my goals was to allow my photographer attendees a chance to explore photographing a bride unlike the typical Southern bride (not that there is anything wrong with it) so I had a "high fashion" bride, who provided us with a very sleek look!
I loved working with Cheryl Brehm. She was so talented and poised and worked with all the things we threw in her direction!!
AND LOOK: POCKETS IN THE DRESS SHE MODELED!
I also tried to have some bridesmaids available, Anna Hill and Chloe Belle were so fun to work with!
It was SO much work to put together this huge styled shoot, but like I said, the vendor friends I made were totally worth it!!
