Kaitlin || Hayes Nature Preserve || Bridal Portraits

A few weeks ago, I decided to do something for me. To shoot with no intention except to enjoy photography! However, loving weddings as much as I do, I wanted it to still be related to that day you say "I Do". I decided doing a fun, low-key bridal session somewhere local to Huntsville was just the key!

So I contacted a cute girl, Kaitlin, whom I have been following on Instagram for a while, and asked her if she wanted to meet up! I am so happy that she did, because even with just 30 minutes, we were able to get so many lovely images! The light hit just right, her dress was to die for, and the flowers I had snagged from Old Frond made for perfect bridal photos! (You can buy mini floral bundles from www.oldfrond.com for just about $15!! She is located in downtown Huntsville, next to the dog park.) I loved

I love being a wedding photographer, but sometimes you need to just get out there and shoot with no stress! We are so lucky that Hayes Nature Preserve near Hampton Cove is SO pretty. The big field allowed us to have lots of that golden hour sun creep through, but still showed off Alabama's gorgeous trees.

Seriously. Joyful, intentional, and lovely brides are my favorite to spend a wedding day with, so if all my brides could be like Kaitlin...I'd chalk it up to a win!!. And isn't this light just dreamy?? #weddingphotographersdream.

I always suggest doing a bridal session outside of your wedding day so that you have plenty of time to capture the wedding details! Your dress also deserves to be worn more than once, don't you think??

Kaitlin claims that this dress is her second love, next to her husband, and I do not blame her!
